Luis and Yongha Share Their Research at GRC Membranes 2026
Luis and Yongha, participated in the 2026 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Membranes: Materials & Processes, held August 2–7 at Colby-Sawyer College in New London, New Hampshire.
The conference brought together leading researchers from academia, industry, and national laboratories to discuss emerging directions in membrane science and technology under the theme, “Future Directions of Membranes for Transforming Separation Technology.” Topics ranged from advanced polymer membrane design and ion-selective separations to resource recovery, electrochemical separations, porous materials, and the growing role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in membrane discovery.
During the conference, Luis and Yongha presented their recent research findings and actively engaged in scientific discussions with researchers from around the world. Their presentations generated valuable feedback and fostered new connections across the membrane science community. In addition to sharing their work, they took full advantage of the conference's highly interactive environment, participating in technical sessions, poster discussions, and informal exchanges that are a hallmark of Gordon Research Conferences.
We are proud of Luis and Yongha for representing Penn State and our research program so well.
