Yongha Kim Awarded the NAMS Graduate Fellowship
We are delighted to share that Yongha Kim was awarded the 2026 Graduate Fellowship through the North American Membrane Society (NAMS)
It is our great pleasure to share that Yongha Kim, a Ph.D. student in our group, has received the North American Membrane Society (NAMS) Graduate Fellowship Award at the International Congress on Membranes and Membrane Processes (ICOM 2026).
The fellowship recognizes outstanding graduate research in membrane science and engineering, and we are delighted to see Yongha Kim's work acknowledged by the community. His research addresses ion transport in weak polyelectrolyte membranes, with the aim of establishing structure–property relationships that can inform the design of more selective and more sustainable separation processes.
We would like to thank the North American Membrane Society (NAMS) and the ICOM 2026 organizing committee for their sustained commitment to supporting early-career researchers, as well as the many colleagues who engaged with Yongha Kim during the poster and award sessions. Their questions and feedback are an essential part of how this work continues to develop.
